Jeanologie: East Lansing’s little piece of Manhattan
Jeanologie is a contemporary boutique nestled in the heart of East Lansing, located just two blocks off Grand River Avenue on M.AC. Jeanologie owner, Michelle Gross, aims to serve young ladies who are trendy and looking to keep up with the latest fashions in premium denim, dresses, tops, gifts, accessories, and casual wear. Michelle graduated from Michigan State University’s apparel and textile design program. After working in New York City for a short period of time after graduation, Michelle decided to come back to campus to open up an upscale boutique she dreamt up with the streets of New York City in mind.
Michelle was successful in her endeavors, and by the summer 2010 Jeanologie had been established with the help of her mother Anita. Michelle wanted to provide a big city inspired boutique to ladies of the East Lansing community. By shopping locally at Michelle’s boutique shoppers are creating economic prosperity for our East Lansing community, while benefiting from the product diversity Michelle provides through her merchandise. When you shop at Jeanologie you are guaranteed to walk out with a unique article of clothing or accessory, rather then a generic pair of jeans sold by one of the larger apparel chains.
