Position Descriptions

Director of Communication:

  • Manage Hubbell social media accounts and website
  • Schedule writers, edit/publish posts for the Hubbell Connections blog
  • Design and send weekly E-blast
    Assist in recruitment efforts for the firm
  • Member spotlights (in e-blast)

Director of Firm Development:

  • Create awareness about Hubbell services among businesses in the local community
  • Maintain a list of current and potential clients
  • Pitch Hubbell Connections’ services to potential new clients
  • Create and maintain materials to assist in pitching new clients
  • Plan professional developments
  • Work with VP of professional development from PRSSA when necessary
  • Work with VP of professional development from PRSSA to plan firm tours

Account Coordinator:

  • Serve as liaison between assigned client and Hubbell associates
  • Create communication plan to outline client goals and a timeline for those goals
  • Maintain steady communication with client about their PR needs
  • Organize and deliver firm work to the client in a professional manner
  • Communicate and delegate assignment information to team
    Lead team meetings and review assignments

Account Associate:

  • Executes projects assigned by account coordinator including but not limited to:
    • Media list development
    • Press releases/ News advisories
    • Pitching media relations
    • Content generation
    • Social media development
    • Brand development
    • Event planning
    • Client strategy
